The Mark1 team have started 2023 as they mean to go on, with a fantastic 9 assessment days this month – Mark, Paul and Ian have all been fully booked. Paul travelled down to Portsmouth for a 2-day assessment, which was a great success despite the miserable weather!
Across the country, many saw a lot of snow this January as temperatures dropped below freezing. This month also represented a rise in strikes from workers on London buses, trainlines, and in the NHS/ health and social care sector. We hope that you have all stayed safe and warm, and that the weather has not caused too much disruption for you.
New year, new Titan– we are pleased to have finalised the system updates, with several notable areas receiving a makeover. Titan now incorporates 2 Factor Authentication for extra security (please note that you need to set your email within your user profile for this to work), and Legal Compliance is a full new section with a handy drop down library. We have also created a Waste section that is split between Hazardous and Non-Hazardous, making it user-friendly and easy to manage.
In national news, the cost of living crisis is a great concern, and continues to impact people across the UK. As of the end of December, retail sales had fallen 5.7% in response. We know that these are stressful and uncertain times, so we want to remind everyone that there are many charities and organisations dedicated to providing resources and well-being support should you need it. You are not alone, so please reach out if things are feeling overwhelming at the moment.
