Welcome to our monthly update…
September seems to have been a month of ups and downs for all of us, just as life seemed to be starting to resemble something nearing ‘normal’, new restrictions were put in place. We have temporarily paused our plans to start working back in our Manchester office (on a regular basis anyway) and are continuing to offer our services remotely. However, we will be conducting site visits where specific circumstances mean that virtual consultancy is not the best option.
Although the Mark 1 team have only assisted with two assessments this month, it has been a very productive month in terms of conducting remote internal audits for our existing clients. We have also been extremely pleased to welcome two new clients on board. Both of our new clients our based in Yorkshire and are new to the ISO standards, but the similarities end there. One is an Advanced Software Engineering company looking to achieve ISO9001 and ISO27001 and the other, a large independent supplier of Cleaning Products and Janitorial Supplies looking to achieve ISO9001 and ISO14001.
It is great to see that companies are looking to put ISO systems in place and perhaps now, more than ever, it is important to have recognized standards to demonstrate the high level your company operates at, gaining customer confidence in the products or services you provide.
Team Building with Treks to the Wrecks
One of the highlights of the month has been our team day to the Peak District with Treks to the wrecks. It was great to reconnect with some of the team in such beautiful surroundings and our guide, Mark Lomas, was very knowledgeable and made the day interesting, as we visited the crash sites of a RB-29A, C47 and a Lancaster.
Not only was this a great team building exercise, but it really put things in to perspective, putting any day to day pressures to one side. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone.
Working in a Remote ISO world
We have been busy planning for our Webinar Virtual Event, that’s Free to attend, happening on the Wednesday 7th October at 11am (details of which can be found here). We look at how managing your ISO Systems remotely can be easily achieved and also be of great benefit to your business. We also demonstrate The Titan System and look at how the functionality of this software can greatly assist you on your path to ISO accreditation. There will be a Promotional Offer available also for those who attend which includes Free Training.
If you have any questions or would like to share your experiences with ISO Accreditations, contact us. Until next month, all the best.
