ISO 9001

Ascend BC

Ascend provide experienced Construction Management to facilitate the construction of client’s commercial projects, in line with their time and budgetary restraints.

The challenge

Having ISO 9001 was one of the first things Ascend BC identified as a necessity for their new construction business. ISO 9001 would allow them to display a seriousness about quality to their would-be clients. Hopefully enabling them to elevate the image of the business whilst simultaneously improving the standard of their product and ultimate satisfaction level of their clients.

How we helped / Results

Mark1 started working with Ascend BC in 2023 with the task of implementing ISO 9001 in a shorter timeframe than normal. This was made difficult as an effective Management System isn’t something you can implement in a short time. Joe worked closely with Mark1 throughout the implementation process and took on board the ISO standard quickly. We were able to conduct a full Audit set and comprehensively manage Ascend’s documentation effectively. Joe also utilised the Titan system, which was integrated into the company’s process and enabled them to manage operations more efficiently.

Mark1 delivered beyond our personal expectations from the outset. They have an extremely warm and professional manner and bend over backwards to deliver. We had an extremely ambitious timeline in which to receive our ISO 9001 certificate and Mark1 succeeded in matching our goals whilst delivering in as short a timescale as possible. Mark1 covered almost all bases for us and made things as smooth as possible, with me having as little as possible to do. Their understanding of the ISO world is fantastic, and the Titan system is a genuinely effective tool for ensuring that all boxes are ticked in ensuring the quality of the business. I look forward to working with them again.
