Amongst Titan’s many other uses, integrated into its system is a highly useful management capability; especially for businesses looking to either maintain or gain OHSAS 18001 accreditation.
Put simply, the system is an Asset checklist that allows all members of staff to view vital data (and individual members to edit) regarding health and safety requirements, from PAT tested equipment to company car checks.
As a reminder system, Titan’s Assets is a dynamic resource with various capabilities that ultimately aids your business in keeping up to date with health and safety standards.
But how exactly is this achieved? Firstly, as an Editor of the Assets system, this individual has the ability to create new ‘Events’ within Titan, to accurately determine a new asset by description, in addition to scheduling it’s renewal, frequency of due dates, or perhaps an annual calibration/service.
Akin to record management, the Editor also has the ability to log history after an event has been submitted. For example, if a company car has recently had a MOT, the editor can add the certificate details, the date of which it occurred, and any comment relevant to the event. This is extremely helpful in situations where evidence is needed for certain health and safety checks, from contractor details to certification for machinery and equipment.
Through Asset reports in Titan, you can manage due dates for tasks and services via different categories of urgency, from ‘tasks due within month’ to those that are overdue and require immediate attention. This is the surest way to keep on top of important reports, helping your business either maintain, or build upon health and safety standard necessary fir OHSAS 18001 Accreditation.
